Since graduating from her Master's of Physiotherapy in 2020, Kirsten has worked in both private clinics and public hospitals, where she developed her skills in neurological rehabilitation across the lifespan. During this time, she found her joy in paediatrics!
Kirsten has a special interest in neurological conditions and neurodiverse children. She has a passion for continual learning and the excitement of new discoveries in research! Kirsten has completed her Level 1 APA Paediatric training, Locomotor Training with NeuroRecovery Network from the US, and Vestibular Rehabilitation. Kirsten has big plans to further expand her skillset in neurodevelopmental therapy, serial casting, and biofeedback, with hopes of a future in research later in her career.
Kirsten is passionate about the value of combining effective evidence based interventions with the goals, interests and motivators of your little one, to get the most out of their therapy! She finds value in the impact of early intervention on quality of life of your child as they grow and develop.
On the weekends you find her in the surf or searching for a new trail to explore!
